Visual artist and draftsman Anders Johan Thyberg was born 1899 in Ånimskog, Dalsland and died in 1980 in Gothenberg. He was a student of Carl Wilhelmson (a teacher at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts and pupil of Carl Larsson). Further studied in Paris, Denmark, Norway, Spain and Estonia. He is represented at the Länsmuseet Gävleborg, Värmlands Museum and Karlstad museums, as well as at the Institute Tessin, Paris.
